CMS Hospital Quality Performance Measures

This section of the site gives you quick access to the most current information available from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ national quality initiative, Hospital Compare. The data demonstrates Nevada hospitals’ activity relating to specific clinical indicators. Click here for more information on the CMS Hospital Compare website.

The measures currently available through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services include a variety of specific measurements falling into the following categories:

  • Heart attack
  • Heart failure
  • Pneumonia
  • Surgical infection prevention
  • Patient satisfaction
  • Children's asthma care

To view CMS hospital performance measures for all reporting Nevada hospitals, click on the buttons below. The instructions below will assist you in using this website.

  • Click on the below to change measures
  • Click on a Detailed Indicator Header to read a description and sort the column by the indicator you clicked on.
  • Click on a Hospital Name to view all indicators for that hospital.
  • Check the next to a hospital to highlight the row while you search.
  • Use the to view only hospitals from one region.
  • Footnote descriptions are available at the bottom of the page. You can also hover over them.
  • Hover over the percentage of an indicator to see the sample size (ex. 90%)
